Tim Cadogan – Chief Executive Officer

Tim Cadogan is the Chief Executive Officer of OpenX.

From 2003-2008 Tim was at Yahoo!, most recently as Senior Vice President of Global Advertising Marketplaces overseeing the primary advertising product lines at the company, including Display, Search and Video. Previously at Yahoo!, Tim was Vice President of Search where he was responsible for both the consumer search and paid search businesses. Prior to Yahoo!, Tim was Vice President of Search at Overture (formerly GoTo.com). Prior to Overture, he was a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company. Tim earned his B.S. from The London School of Economics, his M.Phil from Oxford University and his MBA from Stanford University.

John Linden – Chief Technology Officer

John Linden is the Chief Technology Officer of OpenX.

Prior to OpenX, John was the CTO of Kowabunga. Before Kowabunga, he was the Founder and CEO of Litmus Media, which was acquired by Kowabunga. Previously John was CTO of Adknowledge and the Founder and CTO of Planet Alumni, which was acquired by Reunion.com. He began his career at Microsoft. John attended the University of Kansas where he studied computer engineering.

Jason Fairchild – Head of Business and Partnerships

Jason Fairchild is the Head of Business and Partnership of OpenX, where he is responsible for all things commercial, including strategic partnerships, publisher network development, supply and demand relationships around OpenX Market, and all forms of monetization/revenue.

Prior to OpenX, Jason was a Senior Vice President at Claria, a behavioral marketing pioneer. Prior to Claria, he was a Vice President at GoTo.com/Overture/Yahoo! (Overture) for six years, where he built and led the business development/affiliate team responsible for developing, executing and managing all of that company’s paid search partnerships and global strategic relationships, helping the company evolve from a destination site to the largest distributed search network on the Internet, generating $1.5B+ in annual revenues. Before Overture, Jason co-founded an affinity-based ecommerce company, CU Shopper, that developed and distributed co-branded shopping portals to more than 100 credit unions nationwide, and was an early team member at EarthLink Network, where he led all business development and channel partner functions, helping the company grow from a small regional company to one of the largest, best known ISPs in the country.

Scott Switzer – Co-Founder and Head of Community

Scott is a Co-Founder of OpenX. He continues to lead community efforts at OpenX, and is also a venture partner at First Mark Capital. Prior to OpenX, Scott was the co-founder and CTO of M3 Media Services (acquired by Unanimis Consulting / France Telecom), where he deployed the OpenX precursor PHPAdsNew into large enterprise environments. Previously, Scott was a software developer and architect at IDX Systems Corporation (GE Healthcare), where he built billing, scheduling and clinical systems for large academic medical centers such as the Mayo Clinic and Partners Healthcare. Scott earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont.

Joe Ayyoub - Head of Worldwide Services and Support

Joe Ayyoub is the Head of Worldwide Services and Support of OpenX, overseeing the overall experience of OpenX customers and aligning the Company’s resources with customer needs.

Prior to OpenX, Joe has provided leadership at various startups, most recently at Siperian (now a part of Informatica), where he built that company’s services and support infrastructure, allowing it to scale for growth and its ultimate acquisition. Prior to Siperian, Joe was at Yodlee, Ensim and DoubleClick, the company that developed the Internet’s first commercial ad server. At DoubleClick, he was instrumental in building DARTmail into a profitable business. Joe earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology (Jordan), and an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

Rick Gombos - Head of Finance & Operations

Rick is the Head of Finance and Operations of OpenX, overseeing the Finance, HR and Facilities functions.

Prior to OpenX, Rick held various finance and business positions at Veoh, GoTo.com/Overture/Yahoo!, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). At Yahoo!, he worked in and led various teams in finance operations, business and technology working on paid search, display and YPN. Prior to Yahoo!, Rick held management positions in the Technology and Corporate Development/Strategic Planning teams at GoTo.com/Overture, the pioneer of paid search. Prior to Overture, he was a consultant at PwC in the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) group. Prior to PwC, Rick served in the United States Navy as a nuclear mechanical engineer onboard a fast attack submarine. Rick earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting from UCLA.

Al Duncan – Head of Communications

Al is the Head of Communications of OpenX, helping to share the company’s exciting story with the world.

Prior to OpenX, Al was at GoTo.com/Overture/Yahoo! (Overture) for six years. At Overture, he headed up media relations for the pioneer of paid search during the period of triple-digit growth and the company’s rapid march to profitability, global market leadership and its ultimate acquisition by Yahoo! Before Overture, Al worked in the entertainment business for more than a decade. He worked in feature film production at Warner Bros. and Fox and as a motion picture literary agent at Creative Artists Agency, where he was a member of the Motion Picture Literary Department. Al earned a B.A. in European History from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he served as Associate Managing Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.
