Adding a website

To add a website to the system, click through to the Websites & Zones page, click the Add new website link. In the Add new website page:

  • In the Website field, enter your website’s URL.
  • In the Name field, enter a name for the website. This name will appear in overview lists and each website name in the system must be unique.
  • Select a Category for the website from the drop-down menu.
  • Select the Country and Language of the website from the drop-down menus.
  • In the Contact field, enter the name of the contact for the website.
  • In the Email field, enter an email address for the website manager.

When you have completed these steps, click Save Changes. OpenX then displays the Zone overview page where you can set up zones for the website(s) you have added.

You can give the website manager access to view and manage various aspects of the website on the system in the Website properties > User Access tab.
