Global settings - debug logging
Go to Configuration > Global Settings > Debug Logging Settings to enable or disable the audit trail feature (to read more about the audit trail, see User Logs) and manage the general debug logging settings:

- Enable Audit Trail: this option is selected by default. Deselect the checkbox to disable the audit trail feature.
Debug Logging Settings
- Production System:
- Enable Debug Logging: this option is enabled by default.
- Include method names in debug log: check this box if you want method names to be included.
- Include line numbers in debug log: check this box if you want line numbers to be included.
- Debug Log Type: select the type of debug log you would like from the dropdown. It is set to File by default.
- Debug Log Name, Calendar, SQL, Table, or Syslog Facility: this field is required.
- Debug priority level: use the dropdown to select from -
- PEAR_LOG_INFO - Most Information
- PEAR_LOG_INFO - Default Information
- PEAR_LOG_NOTICE
- PEAR_LOG_WARNING
- PEAR_LOG_ERR
- PEAR_LOG_CRIT
- PEAR_LOG_ALERT
- PEAR_LOG EMERG - Least Information
- Debug Identification String: this field is required.
